A suspense, anthology series that was syndicated from 1946 to 1947. Murder at Midnight featured stories of the "witching hour, when night is darkest, our fears are the strongest, our strength at its lowest ebb -- MIDNIGHT! When the graves gape open and death strikes!" Raymond Morgan, a former Long Island New York minister providedthe creepy voice in the opening of the program with "MURDDD-DERRR--A-A-AT MIIDNIIGHT!"
